If you remember, the iPhone X came out back in late 2017. Apple released it alongside the 8 and 8 Plus, but staggered the shipping dates as to when the consumers could buy the X. Orders for the iPhone X were pushed all the way to December. I remember all of my friends telling me to go with the 8 or 8 Plus, but in my mind, I was determined to get the iPhone X.

I wanted the darker variation as it would hide scratches way more better than the silver model.

Since this phone ended up costing me close to $1000, I needed a strong and functional case to protect it. I ended up going with the black leather case from Apple as it looked good and I knew the build quality would last me the full life of the phone. And I still use the same case to this day, although I am considering switching to a silicone variation.
